Seattle jar fund!

My next chapter in life has gotten me to set my priorities for Seattle, Washington. Saving up for the next two to three years.

That is where my life will officially begin.

My minimum goal is 5k.
So far, only about $370.
So much more to go, sadly.

Death Cab for Cutie with special guest, Explosions in the Sky!!!
It's almost been a month since then. Work has really gotten to me, but thank jeezus I am finally updating!

The way to SB, I used my D90, but once we made it to the concert, I had to retire my plastic and hunk of metal child. I took with me a Sony CyberShot to capture what I could. Bare with me. They aren't the best but I put some love into 'em in order to capture what energy I felt. It was a marvelous day and night. My friendship with Ivette grew because of it and the experience of being free was spectacular. I couldn't ask for anything more.

We hit the road around 1PM, stopped at Jack after about two hours of driving. Made it to SB Bowl, and I felt alive. Bought two Explosions in the Sky tees. One por me and one por my lovely lady, Ashley. Explosions played right at 7PM for 40 to 50 minutes, non stop. They fucking killed. About a 10 minute intermission and Death Cab came on. They are quite splendid live. It made me appreciate them-- more than before.

This entire series magically appeared ever so lovely as I was working on my images for a project. This won't be in the print, so I'm allowed to show these. No relation what so ever to the project. They're from the day Tyler went and got his newest tattoo, the Impossible Triangle. Those images shall come in the next two to three weeks, hopefully. Enjoy these as a replacement for my absence.

First day back to college after a very fulfilling summer (:
Classes were good. Crashed one and got the class. Saw a ton of peeps today.

History of Art, gym for Badminton, Starbucks on El Paseo, Best Buys in PD, COD Cafe, Craven's Center, Intro to Art, PD Mall, Record Alley(hothothot cashier chick, hehehe), Good Will in Rancho Mirage, then Carlos house for Scream 3(I am such a Scream Trilogy fan now) and some dindin.

Seattle, Last Day: Departure
Days 4(Jun. 15) and 5(Jun. 16) were all taken with my film camera, Canon A-1 SLR. I haven't scanned them yet, so bare with me.

My trip in Seattle was splendid. Seattle treated me well and I would love to visit again in the future. The flight home was quick and interesting. Sat next to a religious man and he preached 'bout God, but his up bringing was interesting. Plus, he used to live in the Coachella Valley. Interesting chizz.

Tyler, Cody, Carlos, Krystina and I think Gabe came over during the evening. Good way to end a trip. And I gave 'em their gifts.

Did you know the floor in the Space Needle rotates? Well, it does. People eating within the restaurant placed notes on the window sill for others to interact with. Damn good fun.

A Vietnamese cuisine. I got some bomb ass Kobe patty with gravy and rice. DAMNGOOD, I still fantasize 'bout it. Went to a fisherman's market called Pike Place. Great stores and the energy is great. Tried some free tea. Then Capitol Hill where I am sure they have Pride there. Found nice thrift stores. Headed home, but took a detour to the Westfield in Seattle. It's GODDAMN HUGE. Three stories high, we barely walked the whole thing.

Seattle, Day 1: Arrival
Palm Springs Airport to Sea-Tac Airport in Seattle. Flight was slightly tiring. Aunt's friend came to pick us up. Went to dinner at Chandler's Crabhouse:
